Legendary Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones had viewers fighting back the tears when he performed at the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Singing a moving ballad ‘I Won’t Crumble When You Fall’, the look of pure emotion and earnestness on Sir Tom’s face as he sang gave away the honour he felt to be performing at such an important ceremony. Viewers have also since rushed to commend Sir Tom’s vocals, which remain fantastically powerful and robust even at his 84 years of age. It was a truly beautiful ceremony, with the sun shining down on the veterans as Sir Tom’s beautiful vocals filled Normandy with pride and emotion.
